“I’m a Lover, Not a Fighter” (2023) is an original colored pencil drawing depicting a Betta fish, rendered with a focus on structure, and detail. The composition isolates the subject, inviting close observation of its form and finely rendered detail.
 
This piece is the first work in the “Art of War” series, a collection exploring contrast, tension, and identity through the form of the betta fish. While the species is traditionally associated with aggression, this work presents a quieter interpretation, emphasizing elegance and restraint.
